Liberals Fighting to Defeat Concealed Carry on Campus Bill

The left, with an assist from the main stream media, has launched a full scale offensive against proposed Texas legislation to allow licensed concealed carry weapon permit holders, authority to carry handguns on college/university property.  Texas law allows concealed firearms in most public places, but not in college buildings. 

A Virginia Tech student shot and killed 32 defenseless people on campus in 2007.  Anti-gun groups say the Virginia Tech shooting, is a good reason for NOT allowing guns on campus!  This is typical progressive thinking, which is one of the many reasons, why radical liberals are some or the most dangerous people in America.  And yes, I sincerely believe that progressives are enemies of freedom, engaged in a socialist jihad against the constitutional rights of anyone who dares oppose their subversive agenda.

Criminals by definition commit crime! Laws, including ones that are penalized by the death penalty, do not stop criminal behavior.  Law abiding citizens are safer if they’re able to defend themselves against armed criminals than they are if unarmed and defenseless.  Why is this such a difficult concept for the intellectual elite to grasp?  Even a moron should be able to understand that logic.

If university students are not smart enough to exercise good judgement while carrying a concealed firearm, college admission standards need to be raised!  Liberals are against all second amendment rights and for that matter, any rights that don’t support their liberal fascist agenda.

The good news, is that support among Texas lawmakers appears to be strong.  Over eighty state representatives, more than half the House, are backing a bill that would allow people with concealed carry permits to carry on campus.  Call or email your state representative in Texas to encourage their strong support of this legislation.  A similar bill passed the Senate in 2009, and will certainly pass this session.
