Rachel Maddow- Queen of Liberal Fascism

Seldom do arrogance, ignorance, cultural irony and liberal fascism come together as they did in a segment on Rachel Maddow’s MSNBC show Thursday.

Furthermore, the subject matter she was dealing with, how ideologues try to re-write history, is hugely important, even if she did get it completely wrong.  Maddow is guilty of the sins she was trying to condemn in a conservative politician, Mike Huckabee. Of course, this is typical of Progressives hypocrites from Obama on down.

As you watch the video below, you might ask how and why a U.S. senator could be a member of a House committee?  But that is just a warmup to appreciating how wrong Maddow is here.

Maddow says: “You may remember the House Un-American Activities Committee. Part of that was Senator Joseph McCarthy red-baiting the heck out of the entertainment industry, dragging in actors and writers and anyone he thought might have a whiff of communism on them … Well, in 1947, Ronald Reagan testified before that committee as a friendly witness.”  

Baltimore Sun Critic, David Zurawik wrote in his  Z on TV column yesterday:

Reagan testified before HUAC in Hollywood. McCarthy, a senator, had nothing to do with that House committee. That’s what the “H” stands for: House. I think that is, what, about sixth grade civics?

John Parnell Thomas and John Rankin were among the more notorious names on that committee. They were members of the House — not the Senate. A lesser-know member was U.S. Rep. Richard Nixon

But Maddow in her video, as those who view it will see, goes on and on about McCarthy and the Hollywood committee she thinks he was part of.

I will say no more, but it is astonishing to me that a program presented under the banner of NBC News could have this many incorrect statements of basic fact about such important matters of American history.

I have compared Glenn Beck’s view of American history to that of an elementary student enamoured of the hagiography of biographers like Parson Weems. You know what? Maddow is worse in this case.

Rachel Maddow’s closing remarks in this segment are nothing short of obscene:

“We asked [Huckabee’s production company] today who had done the animation on these DVDs.  They would not tell us.  If you know who brought this amazing animated sauce to life, please get in touch with us.  We would like to know.”

Maddow might couch her unholy request in that chirpy, kindergarten teacher voice, but the venom is 100% pure.  The hypocrisy, however, is 150%.

Read the quote again closely. Maddow already knows the name of the production company, but right after decrying the Hollywood blacklist of the 1950s, she demands the production company — name names. And because they refuse to name names, Maddow then weaponizes her own audience to witchunt up those names on her behalf.

Why?

For the same reason there was a blacklist in the 1950s. No one did anything illegal or improper here, Maddow simply disagrees with the politics of the art and in the hopes of toxifying and/or putting a stop to it has apparently decided to make a MSNBC show trial out of dunking the creators in water to see if they can acquit themselves by drowning.

In notoriously liberal Hollywood, being outed as Mike Huckabee’s  animator could have bad career consequences.  Ironic, no, that Maddow was enlisting her viewers in such an outing just seconds after decrying the way people exposed during the McCarthy hearings “never worked again.”

“[H]er history is BUNK. McCarthy had nothing to do with the Hollywood hearings.  That was HUAC. Maddow went on and on about McCarthy calling Hollywood actors to testify.  Great hearings, but McCarthy had nothing whatsoever to do with them.  He was interested in commies working for the government.”

Governor Huckabee is using the power of art to reach children and no one understands that power better than Liberal Fascists.  They want this turf all to themselves. Maddow is intentionally sending a message to the artistic community that if you step off the Progressive Plantation I will Alinsky you — I will personalize this, target you, and make you infamous to any number of future employers. 

Liberal Fascists want to destroy our Republic.  The Democrat Party and organized labor are the army of liberal fascism. The politically correct media, including FOX NEWS, won’t use these words. But Rachel Maddow and the entire Prime Time line-up at MSNBC are LIBERAL FASCISTS who want to take away YOUR liberty and freedom. Wake up America!
