Obama Second Amendment Applies ONLY to U.S. Military

Obama is the most anti-gun rights POTUS in U.S. history. Single payer health government mandated and run health care was his first term priority. Gutting the Second Amendment and applying it only to the U.S. Military will be his second term priority. The Clinton Administration made that argument to the Fifth Circuit of Appeals.  The Supreme Court is a single Justice away from agreement with the gun grabbers.

 Obama is committed to taking guns out of the hands of law abiding civilians. Obama will only appoint Federal Judges (including Supreme Court Justices) who believe the Second Amendment applies to the U.S. military and NOT citizens.  Law Enforcement agencies, including local police and sheriffs are NOT “Constitutionally” guaranteed the right to keep and bear arms under Obama’s interpretation of the Second Amendment.

Could the government take guns away from law abiding citizens? Of course they could and they will if Obama is allowed to appoint another Supreme Court Justice.  It happened in Canada, Great Britain and Australia. It will happen in the USA if Obama is re-elected. 

Virtually all hand guns and ammunition are illegal in Great Britain. In fact, the vast majority of the police are not even armed. If you call 911, an unarmed officer will respond and then he must request an armed officer.  Police in China, the most populous country in the world,  are not armed.  The United States is the only country in the world where most citizens have the right to keep and bear arms.

The UN wants to prohibit small firearms posession by civilians throughtout the world, including the United States by International Treaty. Obama supports the UN ban on small arms possession by all citizens of the world, including the United States.

The U.S. citizens are only ONE Supreme Court Justice away from losing the inalienable right to keep and bear firearms.  Heller and other recent Supreme Court decisions, have passed by a single vote, 5-4 in favor of Second Amendment rights for U.S. citizens, as guaranteed by the Bill of Rights.

I can’t emphasize this enough ; Obama and the left have the Brady Bunch goal of banning citizens from possessing firearms.  Obama was one of only eleven state legislators to vote to prosecute an Illinois citizen who defended himself with a firearm during an ARMED home invasion. Obama has stated on numerous occasions that he does not think ANY citizen should be allowed to carry a handgun, either open or concealed.  His home state of Illinois is the ONLY state in the country that bans ALL handgun carry, outside of the home.

Illinois requires a permit to purchase a firearm, charges an expensive, recurring tax on ownership of firearms and allows only ONE working handgun in a household.  Strict Gun control, denial of civilian carry, expensive “may issue” permits and severe limitations on all firearms and ammunition exist in numerous U.S. States including, California, New York, New Jersey, Maryland, Hawaii, Connecticut, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. All these states have high gun related crime rates, leaving their citizens unprotected, at the mercy of criminals and police officers who have NO LEGAL OBLIGATION to respond to or protect them.
