Glock .40 Model 27 Compared to New Springfield XDs .45

If you’re considering a Springfield Armory XDs sub-compact .45 here’s a side by side comparison with a Glock 27 .40 caliber sub-compact made by Humans4Targets on YouTube.  They weigh virtually the same loaded, 10 rounds in the Glock and 6 in the XDs.

I haven’t seen the XDs yet but it’s starting to hit the gun store display cases.  Academy has received their initial shipments at most stores.  I’m taking a pass for now, but will definitely consider an XDs for my first Springfield Armory purchase when the Mrs. lifts my new gun purchase ban in 2013.
