Samuel Williams is a Hero

Bonzer Wolf Many thanks to a reader who notified me about this story in the Gainesville Sun. Please let me know about any incidents you read about where concealed handgun carriers save lives. Firearms save innocent lives everyday in the United States but the anti-gun media seldom reports it.
The Internet cafe patron who shot and injured two men as they committed armed robbery in Ocala, Florida will not face any criminal charges. “Based on what I have seen and what I know at this time, I don’t anticipate filing any charges,” said Bill Gladson of the State Attorney’s Office for 5th Judicial Circuit.
Gladson said he has reviewed the security surveillance video from the cafe and the shooting appears justified.
Samuel Williams, age 71, has a concealed weapons permit. Under Florida law, a law abiding person can use deadly force if he or she fears death or serious injury to themselves or others if they are in a place where they have a right to be.
This is the so called “stand your ground” law that the Obamanation is fighting to repeal across America. Obama wants citizens to follow the advice of the Department of Homeland Security and hide under their chairs when confronted by violent felons.
“I think he is wonderful. If he wouldn’t have been there, there could have been some innocent people shot,” Mary Beach told the Gainesville Sun.
Surveillance video of the armed robbery shows two masked men wearing hoodies entering the Palms Internet Cafe, 8444 SW State Road 200 in Ocala, just before 10 p.m. Friday. One of the men had a gun and the other was armed with a baseball bat.
Our hero, Samuel Williams, was seated toward the back of the cafe dressed in a white shirt, shorts and baseball cap.
Duwayne Henderson, 19, entered the business, pointing a handgun at customers. The second man, Davis Dawkins, 19, is seen swinging a bat.
When armed robber Henderson turned his back, Williams drew his .380-caliber semi-automatic handgun and stands up. Williams takes two steps towards the armed robber, than assumes a crouched position as he fires two shots at Henderson, who immediately runs towards the front door.
Williams takes several more steps toward the door and continues firing as Henderson was still armed with a large caliber handgun as he exited and thus continued to pose a threat to law abiding citizens.
Williams shot both men with his .380 and their wounds are not life-threatening. Each was arrested hours later the same night, when they showed up at a hospital seeking free medical treatment. Both were charged with attempted armed robbery with a firearm and felony criminal mischief.
Henderson remained in the Marion County Jail late Monday in lieu of a $31,000 bond. Dawkins was released Sunday after posting an $11,000 bond. George Zimmerman’s Florida bond is set at $1 million dollars! This is what happens when politics trumps justice.
Internet cafes are regulated by the state of Florida like the lottery. They offer sweepstakes entries, which are used to buy time on computer terminals that simulate casino-style games. Senior citizens are known to bring cash to play the games all over Florida.
Obama wants to disarm citizens so thugs can rob more easily with less resistance. It’s the same philosphy he has for voter fraud. Make it easy for criminals to vote for Democrats.
We the people will not give up our civil rights. “Stand Your Ground” is an inalienable right.
